This year’s CCE program has come to an end and I would like to say “job well done”. A big thanks to the catechists for taking the time to share their wisdom with our children and we couldn’t have our program without you! Thank you also to the parents and the students for making such a wonderful effort to be here each week to learn more about our Lord and Church.
Sincerely, Jennifer
The Holy Trinity Parish Prayer Campaign for Church Vocations is open to all parishioners. For information, or to sign-up, contact the parish office. This week, the crucifix will be in the home of the Mark & Debbie Klaus family. Next week, it will be in the home of Stanley & Louise Havelka. Please pray for vocations.
The Confraternity of Christian Mothers will not have a regular meeting this month, but will gather in the church, following the 8:30 a.m. Mass, on Sunday, May 26, for their prayers.
Annual June Fundraiser on Sunday, June 2: A Polka Mass will be celebrated in the church at 10:30 a.m. with polka music provided by the Taylor Czech Chorus and a Fried Chicken and Sausage dinner will follow in the PAC (serving to start at
11:00 a.m.) Adults: $8.50 / Children: $4.00. To-go plates will be available at the drive-thru. DONATED FOOD ITEMS ARE NEEDED from parishioners: toasted bread cubes and homemade noodles, and we also need VOLUNTEER WORKERS FOR THE KITCHEN. There are sign-up sheets in the vestibule of the church for both food and workers. Note: the food donations need to be brought to the PAC on Saturday morning, June 1, the day before the dinner. Sweets for the meal are also needed from parishioners and should be brought to the PAC that Sunday morning. Two helpers are needed at the dessert station during the meal --- please contact Marla Tonn (512-863-0755 and leave a message). For any other information, you may contact: Pinto Nemec – kitchen info: 254-527-3615; Mark Klaus – general info: 512-869-7930; or the parish office: 512-863-3020.
A new addition to our Fundraiser this year is a SILENT AUCTION and the Catholic Life Insurance, Branch #50, will be coordinating it. Parishioners are asked to consider donating items of all types (new items only, please) and you can contact Tommy Sladecek at 512-635-3496 to donate or for more information. Thank you, in advance, for your participation.
