This week's bulletin: 060913_-_Tenth_Sunday_in_Ordinary_Time.pdf

Important Information

In order to accommodate the fact that our new pastor, Fr. Stephen Nesrsta, is going to be pastor of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Granger as well, some changes must be made. As you heard last weekend, our Mass times are changing. The following is our finalized, new weekend Mass schedule and will take effect the first weekend in July (6/7): Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m.

In association with this, Granger's Mass schedule will be Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

With these Mass times changing, the Ministry scheduling will change as well. I need to know, from all Mass Ministers (lectors, altar servers, presenters of gifts and Eucharistic ministers), what new Mass time you would like to serve at. Please call or email me by Sunday, June 23, to let me know. Thanks, Jennifer.

We understand that this change might not be ideal for everyone's preference or schedule, but as mentioned in last week's bulletin: No matter what changes may come, or what will be expected of us, we must all remember that God has a master plan. We all play a role in that plan and must fulfill our duties in a respectful manner and with joy in our hearts.

Highlights

We would like to offer a huge THANK YOU to all who worked at, baked for, donated to and attended our fundraiser last weekend. Thanks also to those who coordinated, donated to and bid at our Silent Auction as well. Thanks to your overwhelming selflessness and generosity, we will be sending $12,000 to the West Relief Fund! God bless you all!

The family of Benny Kubacak would like to say thank you to everyone for their prayers, condolences and memorials. Thank you also to those who prepared, and/or brought food for, the funeral meal. Your generosity will not be forgotten.

We are truly blessed as a diocese. Five young men (Augustine Ariwaodo, Jason Bonifazi, Ventura Caudillo, Barry Cuba and Timothy Nolt) were ordained to the priesthood of Jesus Christ this Saturday, June 8. Please pray for them in their endeavors as new shepherds of the Lord's flock.

Clerical Endowment Fund Drive for Father's Day If anyone is interested in giving their father a Spiritual Bouquet Card, they will be available at all Masses this weekend (June 8/9) and next (15/16). You may also contact Janine Nemec at 512‑863‑6892 to obtain a card. The usual offering is $2.00 per person per card. The benefits for both the enroller and those enrolled are prayers and Masses said for them for a whole year.

In order to honor our parish family graduates of 2013, the 8:30 a.m. Mass today (Sunday, June 9) will be celebrated for them. Congratulations to you all and may the Lord bless you throughout your days!

The Holy Trinity Parish Prayer Campaign for Church Vocations is open to all parishioners. For information, or to sign-up, contact the parish office. This week, the crucifix will be in the home of Kathy Windhauser. Next week, it will be in the home of the Scott & Aimie Tibbetts family. Please pray for vocations.

Due to several conflicts, we will NOT have a Senior Citizens' Supper this month. We apologize for this inconvenience and invite you to join us for this event next month.

It's time for Vacation Bible School! We will have this year's VBS on Monday, July 8, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and our theme will be TRUST GOD! With life being a roller coaster – with lots of ups and downs – it is important for our children to learn to TRUST GOD and to know that, with Him, we will always have a safe landing. So join us for lots of learning through lots of fun and don't forget to invite a friend! We will have snacks and pizza for lunch and the whole day is free to everyone. Please RSVP to Jennifer in the office (863-3020 or email: holytrinitycc(at)yahoo.com) by June 23 (will need t-shirt sizes as well).

2013 Bazaar:It's time to start collecting raffle prizes for this year's Bazaar! We would like to start by thanking all of our raffle donors throughout all these years! Without you, this part of the Bazaar wouldn't be possible --- after all, great prizes mean great ticket sales! If you would like to donate, or need more information, please contact Charles (512-818-6765) or Jennifer (254-718-9697) Marquis. Deadline for raffle donations is Sunday, July 7. Thank you!
